Gramada municipality covers the central part of Region Vidin. Its territory is 184 314 000 m². The municipality’s centre is about 200 km from Sofia and 30 km from Vidin. Gramada municipality is consisted of one town – Gramada and seven compound villages – Toshevtsi, Brankovtsi, Medeshevtsi, Milchina laka, Boyanovo, Vodna and Sratsimir.
Human resources
The population of Gramada municipality is 3049 people. 2094 from them or 68,7% live in the municipality’s centre – Gramada town and the rest 955 people or 31,3%, - in the villages.
Agriculture
Agriculture is a main branch and occupation of the population in the municipality. There are 6 (six) trade- producer cooperative societies and 1 (one) association. There are dozens of families who cultivate hereditary and own lands and also lease land.
Industry
On the territory of Gramada municipality there are some registered and functioning small family companies regarding to food and tobacco industry.
Transport
The main transport there is the bus.
Tourism
Poorly developed branch. Only few local bars offer entertainment.
