Vidin region will participate in the 35 edition of the International Tourist Fair Holiday&Spa Expo 2018

Vidin region will participate in the 35 edition of the International Tourist Fair Holiday&Spa Expo 2018 which will take place in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia from February 14 to 16.
The decision to participate in the Tourism Fair was taken at the meeting of the Regional Advisory Council on Tourism, chaired by the Deputy Regional Governor of Vidin, Elka Georgieva. On a separate stand, of 9 square meters, four municipalities from Vidin - Belogradchik, Vidin, Kula and Chuprene will be presented at the International Tourist Fair.
During the meeting of the Regional Advisory Council on Tourism was presented the project "Transdanube.Pearls – Network for Sustainable Mobility along the Danube", where Regional administration Vidin is a project partner.
Deputy Regional Governor of Vidin, Elka Georgieva congratulated people of the region of Vidin municipality, regarding the first place in the competition for the tourist site – The Baba Vida Fortress was chosen in the category "The Selection of the Bulgarians" in the competition of the Ministry of Tourism.
Representatives of municipalities from Vidin region as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations, cultural and state institutions participated in the meeting of the Regional Advisory Council on Tourism. During the meeting were discussed problems related to the development of tourism, road infrastructure and future project and investment intentions of the municipalities in the field of tourism in 2018.
The participants in the council also made their written nominations to citizens, organizations and municipalities for awarding diplomas for contribution to the development of tourism in Vidin region in 2017
